Terms of use
These terms apply to your use of toucanindia.in. They cover the website only. Any programme, event or travel we arrange for you is governed by the proposal and agreement we sign with you, not by these terms.
1. About these terms
This website is run by Toucan India ("we", "us"), G-32, Lokmanya Pan Bazar Complex, Sion, Mumbai 400022, India. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. Information on the site
We describe our work as accurately as we can, but the site is a general introduction, not a specification:
- Programmes and figures are representative. Guest numbers, durations and details describe past or typical work and are rounded or summarised. They are not a promise of what any future programme will include or cost.
- Clients are described, not named, unless they have agreed to be named. Quotes are attributed by role and sector.
- Images are illustrative. Artwork, covers and scenes on the site are illustrations and may not show the actual venue, property or event.
- Destinations change. What we can deliver depends on availability, travel advisories and local conditions at the time.
3. T.O.C.O., our AI assistant
T.O.C.O. is an automated assistant powered by a third-party AI model. It helps you describe what you need so that the right person at Toucan India can reply. Please remember that:
- T.O.C.O. is a machine, not a member of our team, and it can misunderstand or be wrong;
- its replies are general information, not advice, quotations, availability or commitments; and
- it is for enquiries about travel, events and our services. Please do not use it for anything else, or share sensitive personal information with it.
How your messages are processed is explained in our Privacy policy.
4. No offer, price or booking
Nothing on the site, and nothing T.O.C.O. says, is an offer to sell, a price, a reservation or a contract. A programme is agreed only when we send you a written proposal and both of us accept it in writing. Prices, inclusions, cancellation terms and liability for a programme are set out in that agreement.
5. Using the site properly
You agree not to:
- use the site or T.O.C.O. for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful;
- try to break into, overload, probe or disrupt the site, its server functions or the services behind them;
- use automated means to copy large parts of the site, or to send messages through T.O.C.O. at volume;
- try to make T.O.C.O. produce content unrelated to enquiries, or to get around its instructions; or
- submit someone else's personal data without their permission.
We may limit or block access where we see misuse.
6. Our content
The Toucan India name and logo, T.O.C.O. and its likeness, the text, illustrations, 3D scenes, design and code of this site belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may view and share pages for your own business purposes, for example to show a colleague. You may not copy, adapt, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.
7. Other services and links
The site links to or embeds services we do not control, including YouTube (on the Jukebox page), Google Maps, LinkedIn and Instagram. Their own terms and policies apply when you use them.
The Jukebox for Travellers plays publicly available music through YouTube's embedded player. We do not host, own or license the music; all rights remain with the artists, labels and publishers. If you hold rights in a track and would like it removed from a rotation, write to hello@toucanindia.in and we will remove it.
8. Liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its general information or on anything T.O.C.O. says, or from third-party services linked from it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law. Our liability for a programme is set out in the agreement for that programme.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, including enquiries sent through T.O.C.O.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from use of the site.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
